The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership is a collaborative effort of economic development partners from 47 communities in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. Our aim is to boost regional competitiveness and foster inclusive economic growth through job creation, strategic initiatives, and capital investment. We prioritize strengthening key sectors, nurturing talent, and showcasing our region’s strengths.
The Regional Partnership is seeking an intern for the Regional Initiatives (READI) team to expand our ability to analyze the outcomes of $95M in READI investments into 35+ projects ranging from park improvements, mixed use developments, incubator spaces, and more. You will work closely with the READI staff team and our marketing team on creating outcomes analysis and stories about the region’s READI projects ranging in size from $2M to $200+M.
The strongest candidates will have knowledge/experience in:
- Financial and budget analysis
- Turning data into readable reports/stories
- Project management
- Interest in economic development, real estate, and/or public policy

30 hours per week
Hourly pay
2 days in-office/ up to 2 days remote per week
