Position Objective:
This position provides management and coordination to implement the Talent Attraction and Retention strategies. These initiatives are a part of the region’s economic development strategy, led and coordinated by the South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership. The Manager, Talent Initiatives will work closely with South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership staff and dozens of cross-sector partners to implement projects and events while engaging diverse communities and stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly organized, dependable self-starter with a strong interest in the vision of the South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership and work of the Talent initiatives. monitoring and communicating is essential. This position will have a significant impact on the way in
which the South Bend – Elkhart region makes economic decisions. They will have the opportunity to
create systems and digital infrastructure that will inform regional mayors, commissioners, community

Intern, Economic Development

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Economic Development Intern will be responsible for assisting with executing projects focused on economic development, community development and assistance to businesses. The Regional Partnership conducts a wide variety of programs and projects focused on regional business assistance, increasing the South Bend – Elkhart’s livability and attracting new business investment to the region. The Economic Development Intern will assist several different Regional Partnership departments with their projects, including Education and Workforce, Marketing and Communications, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Entrepreneurship and Talent. This role is a paid, part-time position. The internship length can also vary based on availability and can be extended upon the candidate’s performance.
