Aidan Battista

Coordinator, Startup and Innovation Ecosystem

Aidan Battista serves as Coordinator, Startup and Innovation Ecosystem at the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership, a collaboration of economic development partners in the South Bend – Elkhart region, which encompasses 47 communities in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. The organization serves as a single point of contact for regional communication and seeks to advance economic opportunities for all partner members through collaborative promotion, marketing, and capacity building efforts.

As Coordinator, Startup and Innovation Ecosystem, Aidan is responsible for implementing and reporting the Entrepreneurship initiatives of the South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership. He works closely with dozens of cross-sector partners on projects and events while engaging diverse communities and stakeholders related to company creation and growth in the region.

Prior to joining the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership in 2022, Aidan served as a Human Resource Intern at Lippert.

  • Aidan has two dogs, a beagle, and a chocolate labradoodle.
  • Aidan is a huge Green Bay Packers fan.
  • Aidan is a big U.S. history nerd – he has wasted countless hours watching the same documentaries over and over again.
  • Aidan refuses to listen to any Christmas music before Thanksgiving.
  • Aidan’s perfect year would include Notre Dame football and IU basketball winning the national championship, the Green Bay Packers winning the Super Bowl and the Cincinnati Reds winning the World Series.
