A One-Day Conference Exclusively for Women

Join us for the region’s 9th annual premiere women’s conference.

Four Winds Casino Ribbon Town Conference and Event Center (new location)

This one-day conference includes dynamic women leaders sharing positive, inspiring, and unifying messages through personal insights and experience. There are focused tracks for career development, entrepreneurship, technology, and health/wellness. The Engaging Women Conference supports the SPARK Program of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative of Saint Mary’s College, a business accelerator for under-resourced women.

Intrigue, Inspire, IGNITE Elkhart County 2023

The Intrigue, Inspire, IGNITE Elkhart County Dinner is an event designed to showcase how we can all work together to make Elkhart County an even more fantastic place to live, work and play.  Hosted by the Greater Elkhart Young Professionals, the evening will bring a great mix of speakers that will “ignite a flame” in the next generation of community leaders and world changers.  Our esteemed guest speakers will highlight Elkhart’s gems and all the exciting attractions and activities that make our city a vibrant destination for young professionals.

Speakers include: Eric Garton, Robert and Peggy Weed Executive Director of Wellfield Botanic Gardens; Pete McCown, President of the Community Foundation of Elkhart County; Danny Reynolds, Owner of Stephenson’s of Elkhart Inc.; Brian Byrn, Director & Curator at Midwest Museum of American Art; Jessica Hilary, Regional Development Director – Michiana Business Unit Junior Achievement & Lemonade Day serving Elkhart County; Jamison Czarnecki, Superintendent of Elkhart Parks and Recreation; and Michelle M. Frank, Executive Director at The Lerner Theatre.

Marshall County Senior Expo 2023

Plans are under way for the 16th Annual Marshall County Senior Expo! Janis Holiday, Executive Director of Marshall County Council on Aging is excited to announce this year’s Expo will be on THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19th at Plymouth High School, #1 Big Red Drive, Plymouth.

The 2023 Senior Expo will once again feature FREE admission, over 50 vendors, refreshments, entertainment, many door prizes and health screenings. Some of the free health screenings include blood pressure screening, glaucoma testing, hearing testing, grip strength, video otoscopic exam, strength and balance screening, vision screening and others. Flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available.

The fun entertainment will have new acts, while also bringing back your favorites! New this year, the vendors will have information for volunteer opportunities at their organization: if this is something you are looking for. Also, the Senior of the Year Award will be presented to a very compassionate individual. All ages are welcome, and transportation will be provided free of charge to senior residents of Marshall County by appointment. The hours of the Expo are 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

All current and past recipients are invited to the 2023 Michiana Forty under 40 Alumni Bash brought to you by the South Bend Regional Chamber and YPN South Bend, in partnership with program presenting partners Community Foundation of Elkhart County, First State Bank, and Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. We’ll gather in the Ribbon Town Conference & Event Center at the beautiful Four Winds Casino South Bend, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Get connected with your fellow honorees in an informal environment while enjoying some great appetizers and drinks. We’ll also fire up the StoryCam for those Instagram moments.
