Project Application Process
Implementation of the Regional Cities Initiative continues to move forward. In the South Bend-Elkhart region, applications for 26 projects were received by the June deadline, and the RDA recommended funding for 15 projects in August.
Michiana Partnership, serving in an administrative role, will continue working with the Northern Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA) board members and project teams to submit Claim Forms to the IEDC for approval. They will also work with the RDA to monitor the readiness of each project to be sure they have met all requirements and are fully prepared for execution no later than June 15, 2017.
The RDA is now accepting Intake Forms for projects that were not initially included in the Regional Development Plan (RDP), as additional projects for future consideration. After reviewing the current RDP Project Applications received, if the RDA determines RCI Funds will be available, they will invite projects who have completed the intake form to submit a full Application for review.
