South Bend - Elkhart Regional Development Authority Releases Quality of Place Capital Projects Award Request for Proposals
The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Development Authority (RDA) and the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership released the Quality of Place Capital Projects Award Request for Proposal (RFP) for the South Bend – Elkhart region’s Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) award. To support engagement by stakeholders in the READI quality of place award process and answer any initial questions, the South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership hosted four identical educational sessions throughout the region on June 21 and June 22. Attendance at a session is a prerequisite for project applicants. The nearly 100 attendees were presented with an overview of the READI RFP, with guest speakers from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Ernst & Young, along with South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership staff, as well as a short question and answer section.
Project applications that meet the RFP award process that are submitted in the online form on or before August 15th will be considered at the RDA board meeting in September.
