SOUTH BEND, Ind. (July 30, 2018) — The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership announced today that local community development professional Jill Scicchitano has joined the leadership team to serve as Director of Industry Growth Initiatives.
In this newly developed role, Scicchitano will focus on advancing regional employment in higher pay traded industry clusters by providing business support and improved infrastructure for the region’s growing companies and industries. She will work directly with the Regional Partnership’s Industry Growth Committee to coordinate and implement key strategies and will serve as the primary point of contact.
Scicchitano brings over ten years of leadership experience developing and implementing strategies for achievement in nonprofit and for-profit organizations. In her most recent role as Executive Director of Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB), Jill was very successful in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with community partners, industry professionals, residents and business owners. Jill also worked closely with the DTSB Board of Directors to develop and execute business attraction, retention and other strategies.
