WASHINGTON, D.C. (Aug. 12, 2020) – On Monday, U.S. Senator Mike Braun (R-IN) participated in Congressional Startup Day with the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership. They discussed how entrepreneurs in the region are navigating business during a global pandemic, as well as how they have experienced the entrepreneurship ecosystems.
“As a Main Street entrepreneur, I understand the risks and rewards of sticking your neck out and creating a business,” said Senator Mike Braun. “Entrepreneurs are what drive our great country, and I look forward to meeting with business leaders to discuss the current climate.”
“The South Bend – Elkhart region is dedicated to encouraging robust opportunities and support to our startups, business owners, and established companies. We are committed to creating an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem accessible to all, and capable of providing access to capital, contracts, and contacts to further the development of businesses. Congressional Startup Day is a great opportunity to highlight the work we have done and the work ahead.” – Regina Emberton, president and CEO of the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership.
