South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership Celebrates HustleSBE Cohort 2 Graduates
On July 24, 2020, the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership (SBERP) concluded its second HustleSBE cohort, a business bootcamp aimed toward providing support and assistance to minority and women entrepreneurs across the five-county region (view press release). This virtual 12-session program is dedicated to bringing resources on topics including capital, certifications, financial management, and human resources to minority and women-owned businesses. DEI 101 – Inclusive Excellence Series
The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership created the DEI 101 Inclusive Excellence Series to support and encourage regional businesses as they work towards creating more inclusive environments. Launching on Wednesday, August 19th, this virtual four session webinar series is targeted towards for-profit companies in the South Bend – Elkhart region that want to start a DEI program or elevate their current one. Budgets, industries, and outcomes are all variable. We encourage companies with at least 25 employees to attend. This is a great fit for executives looking to bring a DEI program into their company or HR professionals charged with moving forward a DEI initiative. Topics covered included how to’s of starting a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) program, putting your plan into action, creating a culture of belonging, and being an ally – both as an individual and a company.
