We have set up an IT Sector Partnership for our region that is focused on the workforce needs of the IT Industry. Our initiatives include skilling up existing employees, attracting tech talent to our region, and engaging them in the community. The support and collaboration from regional employers, chambers of commerce, education providers, and nonprofits have made these implementations possible.

I’d like to make you all aware of an opportunity to get FREE access to tech talent from Purdue University, West Lafayette and Indiana University, Bloomington. Our Director, Shabbir Qutbuddin is attending a couple of Computer Science and Information Technology Career Fairs for the next 3 weeks. He is already working with a couple of employers to represent them at the Career Fairs and recruit tech talent for their organizations.
