Buttigieg to Join Century Builders in Groundbreaking for Village at Riverwalk Development

The Village at Riverwalk Development is adjacent to the Regional Cities Blue Ways Project

 
Mayor Pete Buttigieg will join Century Builders and community leaders in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new residential development project in the East Bank Village on August 31 at 11:00 a.m. The ground breaking celebrates the beginning of construction for the Village at Riverwalk as well as the completion of the City’s East Bank Phase 5 Sewer Separation Project, which separated the sanitary and storm sewers in the area as part of a CSO Long Term Control Plan. The project also included new curbs, sidewalks, lighting, and trees that will support the new development.

The Village at Riverwalk by Century Builders includes a combination of market rate single family detached homes as well as townhomes. The development will feature 43 single family homes, 48 townhomes, and 42 apartment units with construction on the first phase having started July 2017.
