Regional Internship Program for Students

LOOKING FOR A GREAT SPRING OR SUMMER INTERNSHIP?

We’ll find the employers – and help match your skills with the right opportunities so that you can land the job!

Since the program’s inception in Summer 2021, we’ve helped create nearly 104 total internships across 54 companies in the South Bend - Elkhart Region. Interns have earned an average wage of $20/hour, worked an average of 400 hours, and earned an average of over $8,000!

PROGRAM COMPONENTS

Key aspects of this program include:

  • Centralized application that allows you to apply for multiple internships and interview with the region’s leading advanced industry employers with roles like those listed on the Job Description Database and in the “Available Roles and Application Pathways” Section
  • Intentional talent-matching to ensure that your application gets in front of additional employers who need your skills—and we even support employers in their efforts to hire international students through CPT!
  • Meaningful work that helps build real-world project management, business, engineering, and/or technical skills at a minimum hourly wage of $15/hour
  • Summer interns will also have access to:
