Junior Achievement has an Immediate Need for Your Help!

|

Junior Achievement has recently come into an unexpected immediate need for Junior Achievement classroom volunteers in Elkhart Community Schools, and are in need of your help to volunteer to teach in the classroom!  With these foundation programs, students learn about responsibilities and opportunities within the economic community as they explore economic development, local businesses, and career opportunities and learn about the roles of individuals and families in a successful working economy.  By sharing your personal and professional experiences and skills with students through JA programs, you are helping them make the connection between what they are learning in school and what they will need to succeed in work and life.  To support your interactions with young people, Junior Achievement have developed a variety of teaching materials, tools, tips, and training to ensure you feel well equipped and comfortable in the classroom!

Classes begin week of April 16th ; classes are the traditional method which includes 5 weeks of 30-45 minute sessions, once per week.  The following classes are in need of volunteers, and as a volunteer you get to choose the weekly day and time slot that would work best for you!
