This event is a double feature – celebrating the past and future of manufacturing and innovation in our region. Interns will explore “Manufacturing Victory”, a joint exhibit by the Studebaker National Museum and The History Museum. The exhibit celebrates the steadfast response of our region’s manufacturers to America’s call during times of military conflict, highlighting the ingenuity of generations of workers, service members, and business leaders, the exhibit chronicles the area’s long and rich history of defense production from 1857 to present day.

Michael Shoemaker, Associate Engineer-in-Residence with iNDustry Labs, will discuss the current state and bright future envisioned for manufacturing in the region. Michael will share how iNDustry Labs collaborative innovation model moves the goals of the LIFT Network to action and share the work being done to build a culture of continuous transformation and growth.
