The state of Indiana recently unveiled the Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI), a bold and transformational program that will dedicate funding toward talent attraction and retention initiatives. Just as the South Bend – Elkhart region did in 2015 for the Regional Cities Initiative, we are coming together once more for our chance to bring $50M of funding to promote strategic investments that will make our region a magnet for talent and economic growth! To kick off the development of our region’s proposal, the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership is hosting the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) for a hybrid event at Howard Park.

The event will build on the impact of the Regional Cities Initiative and serve as a launch event for the South Bend – Elkhart region’s development of an application for the State’s $50M READI grant opportunity.

Get READI South Bend – Elkhart Launch will include the premiere viewing of the Regional Cities Impact video, an informational presentation by the IEDC about the READI program, and a regional presentation to update the public about the status of our region’s grant application and will conclude with ways to submit ideas and get engaged in the process.

Please select either a “virtual” ticket or “in-person” ticket in the registration process. All tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. Please do not RSVP for both versions, as we have limited capacity for in-person attendance.
