SOUTH BEND, Ind. (April 11, 2023) — The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership in collaboration with the economic development organizations from Elkhart, Fulton, LaPorte, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties in Indiana, as well as Berrien and Cass counties in Michigan, are working together to offer the biennial Wages and Benefits Report to regional organizations.
The South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership invites all regional companies to participate in the Benefits portion of the survey.
This year, the Regional Partnership is partnering with Braun Analytics and Sensible Surveys to facilitate a shorter survey refined to compile information on benefits, including health insurance plans and costs, time off, retirement plans, financial incentives, workplace practices such as training opportunities, wellness incentives and childcare assistance, and other areas.
Wage data published by Lightcast, a labor market analytics firm, will be combined with the Benefits data provided to deliver a comprehensive 2023 Wages and Benefits Report for the South Bend – Elkhart region. The final report will be available to all participants in August 2023.
New this year, the survey will use a platform that confidentially saves answers, keeping employer identities separate from their benefit data, and pre-fills them the next time the survey is administered. This means in 2025 businesses can take this comprehensive survey in a fraction of the time it normally takes.
Participation is a crucial part of this assessment and the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership encourages participants to take the time to be accurate and thorough. The survey outcomes will be beneficial to regional companies, communities, and the South Bend – Elkhart region as a whole.
Businesses can register their company to take the survey by submitting information here, to then receive a personalized link via email to participate in the survey.
Any questions regarding the survey can be directed to Jill Scicchitano, Chief Operating Officer for the South Bend – Elkhart Regional Partnership.
